The Extreme Programming (XP) framework relies heavily on Unit Tests and propositions a test first approach. This entry gives a good overview of this Unit Test perspective. Many overlaps in the software testing directory, between acceptance testing and XP. That said this resource gives a good insight into the ‘customers view’ testing aspect of the application. The resource is from a good free online book, extreme Perl. Although the book focuses on Perl and extreme programming the text is clearly written and the concepts of functional tests and user testing are well presented.
